As Christians:
We follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and confess that he is Lord.
As Lutherans:
- We believe in the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Our Faith is grounded in the Bible, the inspired word of God.
- We believe that we are justified (made right) only by God through Christ and that it is our faith by God's grace alone that saves us.
- We respond to God's unconditional love for us by loving our neighbor as we care for others.
- We profess our faith in the words of the Apostles, Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds.
- We acknowledge one baptism in the name of the Triune God, the forgiveness of all sin, and eternal life with God.
- We believe that the Lutheran Confessions help us to better understand the Scriptures.
- We strive to be God's hands and feet in the world as the Body of Christ, all joined together to uphold the dignity of All of God's beloved children.
- We believe that the true presence of Christ is in with and under the Elements of the wine and bread and that all are welcome to the Lord's Table.
As a Family:
- We look out for one another.
- We hold each other accountable.
- We pray for each other.
- We worship together.
As Littles, Middles, and Bigs:
WE LOVE OUR LITTLES, MIDDLES, AND BIGS!
We don't have a nursery, we have a "Prayground". A place RIGHT UP FRONT where curious minds can see, and hear, and wiggle, and jump, and be kids. Kids of all ages are invited to sit , or stand, or crawl...to ask questions, and to fully participate in worship. Kids are NOT the "future of the church", they are the NOW. Sitting still and being quiet in worship is not required.
